Oddball Ebay Finds!

Today I thought it might be fun to showcase several of the odd things that can be found on ebay for a penny. You would be amazed at what you can get lol.

For example, you can get a stamper for your bread that will imprint images of the Virgin Mary. I don't know about you but wouldn't eating that be a bit sac religious? Or maybe you could use it to fool your gullible friends. At any rate bidding starts at only a penny.

A Virgin Mary toast stamper not to your liking? What about adopting a pair of swinging stuffed frogs? No joke, their whole life story is included. I can't even begin to do it justice by paraphrasing it here. You would have to read it yourself.

Ok so maybe you aren't up for adopting a couple of hip frogs. How about an air freshener shaped like a corn dog? Just what everyone needs to add a little class to their vehicle.

GPS Units galore

I just got back from vacation. We broke up the long car drive by geocaching. That was the inspiration for today's post.

From just a penny - a variety of GPS units. Whether you need one in your car, for hiking, or for geocaching, these are invaluable little devices. I am sure there are other uses as well but we use ours for geocaching with the kids. It's a great free activity that the whole family can enjoy. We have spent many a weekend traipsing around in the woods with our trusty Garmin unit. It's worth looking into if you are looking for a way to spend more time with your kids.

Cell Phone Steals!

Our featured deal of the day is cell phones starting at a penny. We found

All with starting bids of 1 penny. Most did not have any bids yet. So you could potentially be the only bidder and win a cell phone for a penny. How cool would that be?

Odd Auction of the Day!

Forget eHarmony, Forget Match.com. Need a date? Try Ebay! Our featured odd auction of the day is a man offering a date with his friend. The bidding starts at just a penny. Now I don't know if this is a joke or if the man is sincerely trying to play matchmaker for his friend. At any rate, it is an unusual idea. Who knows, maybe this man will meet the woman of his dreams and they will be able to say it was all because of Ebay. Good luck to him at any rate.

A Laptop for Next to Nothing!

At last count, there were well over 10 laptop computers listed on Ebay with a starting bid of 1 cent. We found Dell, Compaq among others.


For example, you can get a Dell Latitude C600 with 128 MB of RAM, wireless ready, 30,000 MB hard drive, with Windows XP. It doesn't have any bids yet. And it starts at just 1 cent. Since there is no reserve price, if it only has one bidder, that person gets it. Ending soon. You might want to check it out before it is too late.

Digital Cameras Galore

Digital cameras with starting a starting bid of just 1 penny. I was amazed at the variety. I found Kodak, Polaroid, Olympus, Canon, and many more all starting the bidding at just 1 penny. Think of how lucky you would be if you were the only bidder!

One of the cameras I found was a Panasonic 8 megapixel Lumix with a pop up flash. Brand new they cost over $700.
